New Location Offers Leading Edge Technology and Patient-Centered Care in a Refreshing New Space
Shelton, Conn. (July 31, 2017) – Advanced Radiology Consultants has announced the relocation of its Stamford imaging center to 1259 East Main Street in Stamford, CT. Open as of July 24, the new imaging center combines the most advanced diagnostic imaging technologies in a new environment designed to optimize patient comfort and convenience.
The new Stamford imaging center is located just off Interstate 95, Exit 9, next-door to WWE, providing easier access for patients in and around the Stamford area. The center will offer a complete range of diagnostic imaging, including 3T wide-bore MRI, CT scanning, digital screening and diagnostic mammography with 3D breast tomosynthesis, ultrasound, bone densitometry, and digital X-ray.
The new 3T wide-bore MRI is equipped with GE’s SilentScan technology, which significantly reduces the noise associated with traditional MRIs. Our MRI provides patients with more comfort and less anxiety due to its accommodating features. Its enhanced 3D imaging capability results in up to 25% better image quality, with the ability to capture more information in a single scan to reduce exam times.
The new digital radiography (X-ray) system, one of the first systems available in the U.S., can perform a wide range of dose-efficient exams. Its ergonomic design and easy patient positioning provides full flexibility to image patients of all sizes, ages, and degrees of mobility, from head to toe, with maximum efficiency and comfort.
The new facility’s interior is in keeping with the company’s upgrade initiative first seen in its new Wilton imaging center in March, and demonstrates Advanced Radiology’s ongoing commitment to providing a superior patient experience that combines high quality care and significant healthcare value with optimal patient comfort.
